What is Gestagyn Breastfeeding?

Gestagyn Breastfeeding is a specific food supplement to help meet the nutritional needs of mother and baby during breastfeeding.

Food supplement with DHA from microalgae , folic acid , iodine , iron , vitamin D and other vitamins and minerals .

Composition of Gestagyn Breastfeeding

• Ferginate®, 14mg : ferric sucrose microencapsulated in a matrix that protects it from the acidic pH of the stomach . Its release is progressive and its absorption is optimal in the duodenum, avoiding gastrointestinal side effects.
• Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin .
• DHA from microalgae, 160 mg : contributes to normal brain and visual development of the infant .

The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, that is, 250 mg of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).

• Iodine, 200 µg : Contributes to the correct neurological development of the infant .
• Betacarotene Provitamin A, 1 mg : Contributes to correct visual development and the correct function of the immune system .
