Interprox® is the most complete brand of interproximal brushes and gel specially designed to eliminate oral biofilm (bacterial plaque) from interdental spaces.
To do this, it has brushes with a wide assortment of sizes or PHD (Passage Hole Diameter) that indicate the size of the smallest space through which the brush can be inserted, from 0.6 to 2.7.

The importance of choosing and using an interproximal brush correctly 
When the space between the teeth is open, the use of interproximal brushes is recommended to effectively eliminate the biofilm or bacterial plaque between the teeth.
To choose the interproximal brush that best suits your needs, it is important to take into account the following parameters:
-Space or size between the teeth (PHD: Passage Hole Diameter)
-Number of locations where to use an interproximal brush
-Area in which the locations are located (anterior sector of the mouth: incisors and canines or posterior sector: premolars and molars)
If you do not know the PHD that corresponds to the interproximal space, it is advisable to initially choose the smallest size (Interprox® 0.6 or Interprox® Plus nano 0.6 brush) and increase the size if the brush works loosely. Additionally, if you have different locations, it is important that you use different interproximal brushes depending on the size of each of the spaces.
For anterior areas, the use of interproximal brushes with a straight handle such as the Interprox® range of brushes is recommended.
For posterior areas such as premolars or molars, brushes that have an angled head (Interprox® Plus and Interprox® Access) will help you perform a correct interproximal cleaning.
In any case, the new Interprox® brushes with a flexible handle and neck without memory effect will allow them to adapt to both the anterior and posterior areas, being of great help when there are interproximal spaces of the same size in various areas or locations of the mouth.
Products for optimal interproximal hygiene 
The space between the teeth, or interproximal space, can be open (the gum does not cover the entire interdental space) or closed (interproximal space covered by the gum or in cases of crowding).
