How to use AVENE Cicalfate+ Gel for Scars

1. Apply twice a day
2. Gently massage gently in the direction of the scar.
3. To determine the maturity of the scar, it is necessary to evaluate the time of skin recoloration by pressing the scar: press the scar and time the time it takes for the scar to return to its original color.
4. The normal time is around 3 seconds. The longer the time, the more mature the scar is.
5. If it recolors in less than 1 second (generally up to 1 month after it occurs): the scar is not yet mature. Apply the product on and around the scar with light touches.
6. If the scar becomes discolored between 1 and 2 seconds: do a palpating-rolling motion, taking the skin between the thumb and index finger in the direction of the scar. Pinch the skin between your fingers, making it slide between them. Carry out this gesture until the product is completely absorbed. (approximately 5 minutes).
7. If the scar recolors after 3 seconds (generally 3 months after it occurs), it is mature. Proceed to perform a massage by stretching the skin in the direction of the scar until the product has completely penetrated (approximately 5 minutes).
