Juanola Decongestant Nasal Spray is a medical product for the treatment of respiratory conditions in which hypersecretion of mucus , such as the common cold or rhinitis, can cause acute or chronic rhinosinusitis and allergic rhinitis .

Juanola Nasal Decongestive Spray decongests in 30 seconds. It is formulated with captomucil.

Mucin is a physiological complement to human secretions. Excess production during respiratory infections makes mucus too sticky to be expelled, causing blocked sinuses.

Captomucil , when mixed with nasal mucin in certain proportions, is capable of breaking down the viscosity of the mucosal network, making it much easier to eliminate excess secretions.

The decongestant effect of captomucil occurs within 30 seconds . The hypertonic solution reinforces the decongestant effect of captomucil which further increases the fluidity of excess mucus.

• Captomucil : based on chitosan, it is an innovative polysaccharide of fungal origin. This, when mixed with more nasal mucin in certain proportions, is capable of breaking down the viscosity of the mucosal network, making it much easier to eliminate excess mucus.
• Hypertonic solution : reinforces the decongestant effect of captomucil. The osmotic effect of the product facilitates the release of water. In this way it helps to expel excess mucus.

Juanola Decongestant Nasal Spray how to use

• Adults and children over 12 years of age : 1-2 sprays in each nostril 3-4 times a day.
• Children 6 to 12 years : 1-2 sprays in each nostril up to 2 times a day.
