BUSCAPIDOL 24 Gastro-resistant Soft Capsules

Soft capsules that relieve discomfort and pain associated with mild spasms of the gastrointestinal tract and flatulence (abdominal distention) .

It is a herbal medicine that contains peppermint essential oil (active ingredient).

Who is it indicated for?

Buscapidol is indicated for adults and adolescents from 12 years of age (with a minimum weight of 40 kg).

Indicated for the relief of discomfort and pain related to mild spasms of the gastrointestinal tract and flatulence.

How is it taken?

The recommended dose is:

• 1 gastro-resistant capsule 3 times a day for adults and adolescents with a minimum weight of 40 kg .
• The capsules should be taken orally without breaking or chewing .
• They should be taken 30 minutes before a meal with a sufficient amount of liquid.
• Buscapidol should be taken until symptoms subside , usually between one and two weeks.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient of this medicine, which is peppermint essential oil , menthol or any of the excipients of the medicine. It is also not indicated for patients with a body weight of less than 40 kg, for safety reasons.
