- Absorbent core : The jewel of Dodot technology! It absorbs moisture and moves it away from your baby's skin to keep it healthy and dry.

- Super absorbent : this material, used in all disposable diapers, has the property of absorbing up to 30 times its weight , capturing liquid in just a few seconds . These superabsorbents are totally safe and chemically inert , even in possible contact with the skin.

- Cellulose : it is an ingredient of natural origin that absorbs moisture . All cellulose used by Dodot is sustainably sourced . This is one of the ways in which Dodot is committed to sustainable forest management and meets the requirements of EU Regulation No. 995/2010.

Dodot has developed a unique combination of superabsorbents and cellulose to offer high-performance diapers that give your baby total comfort. Through the balanced use of these superabsorbents and cellulose we ensure that the diaper is not too thick or hinders the baby's movements and prevents the diaper from hanging uncomfortably.

- Top layer : distributes moisture to the inside of the diaper to keep your baby's skin dry and in good condition . This layer, which is in contact with your baby's skin, contains polypropylene fibers to make it softer and more comfortable .

- External layer : it is the outside of the diaper. Prevents moisture from leaving the diaper and onto the baby's bed or clothing. It is composed of polyethylene and a polypropylene wrapper that provides softness and comfort.

- Adjustable closures : these repositionable strips are soft and keep the diaper perfectly adjusted to your baby's body . They are composed of polypropylene and polyester fibers that add softness and flexibility to offer even more comfort to your baby.

- Elastic sides : they help the diaper adapt to the shape of your baby's body around their legs, to offer greater comfort and prevent losses. Dodot does not use rubber or latex that may be allergenic. Instead they use elastane and polypropylene.

- Adhesives : they are used to hold the different layers of material together and prevent leaks . In addition, they do not come into contact with the baby's skin . Dodot uses only solvent-free products.

All materials used by Dodot have been carefully selected and evaluated in detail, and have been proven safe to use. They do not come into contact with babies' skin. None of the 26 allergenic substances listed in the EU Cosmetic Regulation are used in these materials.

- Lotion : Some of the Dodot diapers include Lotion, in order to protect your baby's skin and reduce the risk of irritation caused by the diaper, a patented protective balm is applied to the top layer of the diaper. The ingredients in this lotion comply with EU regulations. Contains:

*Petrolate : Petrolatum is nothing more than the well-known Vaseline , a harmless and safe product used as a remedy in dermatology for more than 100 years, usually used to reduce the risk of irritation caused by diapers in newborns. Dodot uses pharmaceutical grade purified petrolatum and is completely safe for baby.

*Aloe barbadensis (Aloe Vera) extract to provide softness .

*Liquid paraffin , a fatty substance used to combat dehydration .

*Stearyl alcohol , an emulsifier commonly used in pharmaceutical products for its moisturizing properties .

In addition, Dodot diapers have:

- Bisphenol-A (BPA), dioxins, dyes, elemental chlorine, ethanol, heavy metals (such as lead or mercury), organotins, parabens, pesticides, phenol, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH).

- Natural latex or rubber that may be allergenic.

- Dodot Activity and Dodot Sensitive diapers do not contain any of the 26 allergenic fragrances listed by the European Union.

Are the ingredients Dodot uses safe for babies?

Yes . Dodot only uses 100% safe components in its products (diapers, diaper panties and wipes). All materials used are subject to rigorous evaluations and strictly comply with the recommendations for the safe use of substances of the EU Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety, SCCS/1564/15.
