- Remove the test device from its packaging and place it on a flat surface, such as a table.
- Place the extraction tube in the hole that you will find in the box of this test (this way you will prevent it from falling and spilling the reactive formula that it includes) and remove the protective film it contains to be able to insert the swab with the sample taken from your nasal passages. .
- Introduce the swab through both nasal passages , making light circular movements to extract the samples for at least 15 seconds (about 5 turns in each nostril).
- Place the swab in the tube for 10 seconds . Then remove it , pressing the swab against the walls of the tube to release the sample. Close the extraction tube.
- Squeezing the extraction tube, release 3 drops of the mixture into the two holes of the test device (Covid-19 and Flu A+B).
- Now we only have to wait 15 minutes to know the result.
Interpretation of the GENESIS Antigen Test result
When interpreting the result, you should look at the number of vertical lines that will appear on the testing device after performing the test.
If there are 2 lines in the Covid-19 zone , you will be positive for Coronavirus , while if there are 2 lines in the Flu A+B zone , you will be positive for flu.
If a vertical line does not appear in the T zone of both the Covid-19 and Flu A+B sections, it will mean that the test has failed and we recommend carrying out a new test as soon as possible to obtain a reliable result.
