The SpecialNeeds bottle offers you a way to feed your baby breast milk if he or she is physically unable to drink from the breast or bottle.

Instead of a standard nipple the Medela SpecialNeeds bottle has a longer, thinner nipple made of soft silicone that uses compression instead of a vacuum to help feed the baby.

The responsive one-way valve design reacts to any feeding capacity while preventing air from entering the bottle, which can be a problem, and allowing baby to pause and breathe while feeding at their own pace.
