Food supplement based on carnitine, an important amino acid that is produced in the body from lysine in the presence of vitamin C, and is found mainly in foods of animal origin.
Its most important known metabolic function is to transport long-chain fatty acids to the mitochondria of muscle cells (including those of the myocardium), where they are oxidized to produce energy.
It is presented in its free form and is easily absorbed.
It is preferred by athletes, and plays a role in thermogenesis (heat production) of brown adipose tissue (the brown color is given by the cytochromes of the mitochondria), and in the regulation of glycogenesis.
Take 1 capsule daily with water or fruit juice.
Amino acids are best taken half an hour before any meal or just before going to bed.
Not recommended for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Food supplements are not a substitute for a healthy and balanced diet.
Keep out of reach of children.
Per 1 capsule: L-Carnitine (500 mg).
