• Hyaluronic Acid : It is manufactured by skin cells and is part of its connective tissue. One of its main functions is to retain moisture : it has the ability to bind between 1,000 and 10,000 times its own weight in water (that is, one gram binds between one and ten liters). As we age , the skin's natural ability to produce hyaluronic acid is reduced , and that is when wrinkles begin to form and deepen .
• Glycolic Acid : This is a very common chemical peel used by many dermatologists. It is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), derived from sugar cane, with an extremely small molecular size.
