Retinol, when administered in a cream, must first be converted by the skin into retinaldehyde (or retinal) and then into retinoic acid, the molecule that possesses the anti-aging properties we so desire. Retinal requires a single conversion into retinoic acid and is therefore up to 11 times faster than traditional forms of retinol.

The advanced active ingredient is carefully encapsulated in a crystal structure that is broken down by the skin's natural enzymes upon topical application. This ensures maximum stability and absorption while allowing the active vitamin A to be gradually released into the skin while you sleep to ensure minimal irritation.

Combined with hydrating hyaluronic acid and soothing vitamin E, Crystal Retinal 10 treats fine lines and wrinkles for smooth, visibly youthful skin. Directions for use: After cleansing your face at night, massage a small amount of Crystal Retinal onto your face, neck, and décolletage. Allow to absorb before applying your moisturizer.

Crystal Retinal should be applied gradually. Use twice a week for the first 2 weeks, every other night for the next 2 weeks, and then every night thereafter. Always use sunscreen the following morning while using this product and for 1 week afterward. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you've never used a product containing retinaldehyde before, we recommend starting with Crystal Retinal 3. Once your skin tolerates it, you can move on to Crystal Retinal 6 and then Crystal Retinal 10.
