Precautions with Equisalud Holofit Astragalus 50 Capsules
Enhances the effects of acyclovir, interleukin-2 and interferon-alpha.
It may present incompatibility with anticoagulants and also oral hypoglycemic agents.
Interactions have also been described with phenobarbital, beta-blockers and certain nasal decongestants.
In traditional Chinese medicine, it is recommended not to use it at the onset of colds or flu, especially when there is a high fever.
Polysaccharides stimulate the release of histamine, which can exacerbate certain allergies.
