What is Strata XRT Radiodermatitis Gel?

Strata XRT is a gel for the prevention and treatment of radiodermatitis. It is a self-drying, non-sticky , bacteriostatic, and inert gel .

Strata XRT is used for the protection and hydration of all types of radiodermatitis, compromised and intoxicated skin, superficial wounds and 1st and 2nd degree burns .

Strata XRT dries to form a protective dressing. It creates a thin, permeable, protective layer that prevents dehydration and the adhesion of bacteria or external debris . It is also suitable for people with sensitive skin.

What are the benefits of using Strata XRT Radiodermatitis Gel?

- It is a flexible, full-contact dressing that provides an optimal environment for wound healing:

  • Reduces recovery time after surgery.
  • Relieves itching and discomfort.
  • Reduces the inflammatory response.

- This moist healing environment promotes faster re-epithelialization while significantly reducing the skin's inflammatory response.

- In moist desquamation, Strata XRT protects the dermal stroma from long-term deterioration, while preventing the outer layers from excessive desquamation .
- Wet desquamation optimizes the environment for the repair process and reduces the risk of infection .

- Helps promote a moist wound healing environment leading to rapid healing and recovery after therapy

Strata XRT has no measurable pH, so it does not affect the skin's fragile acid mantle. It promotes a moist healing environment for extensive superficial wounds and burns .

This Gel creates a thin, permeable, and protective layer that prevents dehydration and the adhesion of bacteria or external debris.

How to apply Strata XRT Gel Radiodermatitis?

  1. Check that the affected skin or superficial wound is clean and dry .
  2. Before applying the gel, carefully dry excess exudate or fluid from the area (as much as possible)
  3. Apply a very thin layer of Strata XRT directly onto the affected area and allow the Gel to dry .
  4. Strata XRT should be applied to the affected areas once or twice daily or as recommended by a physician.
  5. Once dry , Strata XRT can be covered with sunscreen , cosmetics and clothing.
