Espididol 400MG 18 Coated Tablets
Espididol is the only non-prescription medicine in tablets with ibuprofen salified with arginine that allows complete solubilization of ibuprofen and ensures rapid absorption.
What is Espididol?
Espididol is a medicine based on ibuprofen and arginine indicated for the symptomatic relief of mild or moderate occasional pain in adults and children over 12 years of age.
Espididol, thanks to the complex with arginine, is absorbed more quickly than Ibuprofen alone.
Arginine is an amino acid that, when bound to ibuprofen, increases its solubility, accelerating absorption.
How to take Espididol?
Espididol is indicated for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: Take one film-coated tablet (400 mg ibuprofen) or one sachet (400 mg ibuprofen) every 6 to 8 hours if necessary. Do not take more than 3 film-coated tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen) or more than 3 sachets (1200 mg ibuprofen) in 24 hours.
- Over 65 years of age: the dose should be established by the doctor, since there is a possibility that a reduction in the usual dose may be necessary.
- Patients with kidney, liver or heart disease: reduce the dose and consult a doctor.
- Paediatric population: The use of this medicine is not recommended in children and adolescents weighing less than 40 kg or under 12 years of age, as the dose of Ibuprofen it contains is not adequate for the recommended dosage in this group of patients.
