How does Prospantus Syrup in Sachets work?
PROSPANTUS ® combats the three most common symptoms of cough by acting directly on each of them:
- MUCOLYTIC ACTION : It reduces the viscosity of the mucus in our respiratory tract, making it more fluid and less thick. In this way, it can be expelled more easily.
- EXPECTORANT ACTION : PROSPANTUS ® can help dilate the bronchi, and in this way helps to breathe more freely when there are difficulties due to the presence of excess mucus.
- ANTI-CUSTUS ACTION : As a consequence of the other two actions, PROSPANTUS ® dilates the bronchi, promoting expectoration and relieves persistent cough.
How to take Prospantus Syrup in Sachets?
The recommended dose is:
- Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 5 ml of syrup (1 sachet), 3 times a day, (equivalent to 105 mg daily of dry ivy leaf extract).
- Children between 6 and 12 years of age: 5 ml of syrup (1 sachet), 2 times a day, (equivalent to 70 mg daily of dry ivy leaf extract).
