- Before taking STODAL for children

Pregnancy and lactation
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
At the recommended dose, Stodal for children has no effect on the ability to drive or operate machinery.
Children's Stodal contains sucrose. If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, check with your doctor before taking this medicine.
Patients with diabetes mellitus should take into account that:

  • Each 2.5 ml of Stodal for children contains 2.1 g of sucrose.
  • Each 5 ml of Stodal for children contains 4.2 g of sucrose.
  • Each 15 ml of Stodal for children contains 12.6 g of sucrose.

“Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, or have recently taken, any other medicines, including those obtained without a prescription.”

- How to take STODAL for children?

Use the measuring cup to measure the amount indicated below:
Children under 5 years: 2.5 ml 3 to 4 times a day and over 5 years: 5 ml 3 to 5 times a day.
From 18 years old: 15ml 3 to 5 times a day.
The intakes should be spread throughout the day and at bedtime.
Orally.
A syrup should not be taken for a long time.

If you think that the action of Stodal for children is too strong or weak, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
Infant Stodal should not be used in cases of productive cough. In case of chronic bronchial or lung disease.
If symptoms worsen or persist after 5 days, consult your doctor.
Treatment should not last more than 5 days. If you have taken Stodal Infant more than you should , consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
If you forget to take Stodal for children, do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten doses.

Like all medicines, Stodal for children can cause side effects.

- Conservation of children's STODAL

No special storage conditions are required.
Do not use Stodal for children after the expiration date indicated on the box.
Medications should not be disposed of down drains or in the trash. Deposit the containers and medications that you do not need at the SIGRE Point of the pharmacy.
If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of packaging and medicines you no longer need. This way you will help to protect the environment.
