Vicks NasalVicks is a nasal spray used for the relief of local symptoms of nasal congestion associated with a cold or rhinitis , in adults and children from 6 years of age . The effect of the solution begins a few minutes later and lasts up to 12 hours.

Vicks NasalVicks belongs to a group of medications called sympathomimetics that act by producing local vasoconstriction that reduces nasal congestion.

Who is it indicated for?

Vicks NasalVicks Nasal Spray Solution is indicated for adults and children 6 years and older for the relief of nasal congestion.

How to use Vicks NasalVicks 0.5mg/ml Nasal Spray Solution?

1. Remove the plug. Hold the bottle upright with the nasal applicator in your nostril . Keep the other nostril closed.
2. Apply the spray and breathe deeply through your nose at the same time. Repeat in the other nostril.
3. Adults and children over 10 years old can repeat steps 1 and 2 one more time if necessary.
4. Clean the nasal applicator with a clean wet wipe and cap immediately after use.

The recommended dose is:

• Adults and children over 10 years : 1-2 sprays in each nostril no more than 2-3 times a day.
• Children from 6 to 10 years : 1 spray in each nostril no more than 2-3 times a day.
• Children under 6 years: do not use.

This medication should not be used for more than 5-7 consecutive days. Use for longer periods of time than recommended may cause increased nasal congestion.

Contact your doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days of treatment.
