Relieve the symptoms caused by seasonal allergic rhinitis using Reactine tablets.

They contain cetirizine and pseudoephedrine.

Reactine has a double action :

- Antihistamine:

• Itchy nose.
• Runny nose.
• Nasa congestion.
• Sneezing.

- Decongestant from 15 minutes and relief for up to 24 hours:

• Itchy eyes.
• Crying eyes.
• Red eyes.

Antihistamines work by preventing histamine activity. Histamine is a substance that the body produces mainly to defend itself. Histamine is stored in "mast cells" which can be found in almost all tissues of the body. On some occasions, when the body is exposed to a foreign substance (an allergen) it reacts by releasing histamine reserves from the mast cells.

When released, this histamine causes small blood vessels (called capillaries) to widen. This causes many of the symptoms of allergy, since the contents of these vessels begin to extravasate into body tissues, producing inflammation of the nose, eyes or respiratory tract and causing itchy or watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing and nasal congestion.

From what age can you take Reactine tablets?

Reactine tablets are indicated for adults and children from 12 years of age.

How do you take Reactine tablets?

• Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age : take 1 tablet 2 times a day , morning and evening, the maximum daily dose being 2 tablets.
