This product provides a grade of lysine called USP, which is the grade used in nutritional products used in clinical studies (very cheap lysine products may contain animal grade lysine).
Lysine is most abundant in animal foods such as meat. Vegetables and plant proteins are not particularly high in lysine, so some experts believe that vegetarian and vegan diets may involve lower levels of lysine.

Take 1 to 2 tablets daily with water or fruit juice.

Per 1 tablet: L-Lysine (Hydrochloric) (500 mg), with bulking agent (cellulose, silicon dioxide), coating agents (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, glycerin), and anti-caking agents (stearic acid and magnesium stearate).
