It is essential for normal psychological functions: a lack of B12 can lead to memory problems, irritability, disorientation and/or mood disorders such as apathy.
Vitamin B12 is essential for the proper functioning of the body.
There are 4 forms of vitamin B12: hydroxycobalamin and cyanocobalamin are non-physiological forms of cobalamin and 2 biologically active forms meticobalamin and 5-deoxyadenosylcobalamin.
IVB has used the active form of methylcobalamin, which in addition to being absorbed more easily, is capable of donating to our metabolism the methyl group that is essential for more than 100 metabolic reactions.
In this way we not only optimize our B12 levels but also our methylation metabolism.

Vitamin B12 is best absorbed when it passes directly into the bloodstream, which occurs with sublingual administration.
By placing the supplement under the tongue, vitamin B12 is rapidly absorbed through the mucous membrane of the mouth, bypassing the digestive tract where some nutrients may be lost or not absorbed efficiently.
This is especially beneficial for people with gastric problems or for those who have difficulty absorbing nutrients due to certain drugs such as metformin, omeprazole (and all drugs in the same family known as proton pump inhibitors), methotrexate, oral contraceptives…
Methyl-B12 offers the flexibility of being taken either sublingually or orally, adapting to the needs and preferences of each person.
