What is VisuXL Ophthalmic Gel 10ml?

VisuXL is a preservative-free Ophthalmic Gel that is indicated to lubricate in cases of dry eyes .

VisuXL Gel is in a liquid state in the bottle and turns into a gel when it comes into contact with the surface of the eye .

It is based on an innovative combination of ingredients , including Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose (cross-linked CMC) and Poloxamer 407.

Cross-linked CMC forms a protective layer on the surface of the eye that provides relief and comfort for dry eye patients. In turn, CoQ10 has been shown to protect the eye and promote healing of corneal damage caused by dry eye syndrome or eye surgery.

Poloxamer 407 is an excellent thermogelling agent, which allows the administration of the solution in the form of eye drops and once it comes into contact with the ocular surface, it transforms into a gel . This results in patients using VisuXL Gel experiencing the well-being of a gel with the convenience of a drop.

VisuXL Gel does not contain preservatives , is compatible with contact lenses , allows dosing every 12 hours with 2 drops per day , and is indicated for both daytime and nighttime use.
