Its main ingredients are trehalose , a disaccharide present in numerous plants and animals, sodium hyaluronate , a polysaccharide naturally present in the eye, and carbomer, which helps the product remain in the eye longer.

Composition of THEALOZ Duo Gel

Thanks to its unique combination of trehalose and sodium hyaluronate, it provides protection, hydration and lubrication of the ocular surface for a long period of time and with maximum comfort.

The physiochemical characteristics of trehalose give it protective, antioxidant, and moisturizing properties. For these reasons, it is an essential element in the anhydrobiotic mechanism observed in certain microorganisms (a latent metabolic state that allows them to survive extreme dehydration).

Trehalose also has properties that protect and stabilize cell membranes, preventing protein breakdown and lipid deterioration, as well as antioxidant properties.

Sodium hyaluronate is a natural polysaccharide present in the human eye, with unique water-retaining properties. Its considerable water-retaining capacity results in enhanced hydration and lubrication of the corneal surface. Furthermore, its bioadhesive properties allow the product to adhere more closely to the ocular surface, providing long-lasting relief and shortening the healing time of the corneal epithelium.

Carbomer allows the gel to remain on the ocular surface longer, providing long-lasting relief from the signs and symptoms of dry eye .

How to use THEALOZ Duo Gel

1. Before use, wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Remove a single-dose container from the strip.
3. Turn upside down and tap the single-dose container.
4. Open the container and press to release the gel.
5. Place one drop into the conjunctival sac (the space between the eye and the eyelid), while gently pulling the lower eyelid down and looking up.
6. Discard the container, even if some gel remains inside.
7. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using the product and wait at least 30 seconds before putting them back on.
8. Use one drop in each eye, 2 to 4 times a day.
9. Ideal for use at night, just before going to bed.
