Composition of THEALOZ Duo Gel

Thanks to its unique combination of trehalose and sodium hyaluronate, it provides protection, hydration and lubrication of the ocular surface for a long period of time and with maximum comfort.

The physiochemical characteristics of trehalose provide it with protective, antioxidant and moisturizing properties. For these reasons, it is an essential element in the anhydrobiotic mechanism observed in certain microorganisms (a latent metabolic state that allows them to survive states of extreme dehydration).

Trehalose also has properties that allow the protection and stabilization of cell membranes, preventing protein alteration and lipid deterioration, as well as antioxidant properties.

Sodium hyaluronate is a natural polysaccharide present in the human eye, with unique water retention properties. Its considerable water retention capacity results in accentuated hydration and lubrication of the corneal surface. Likewise, its bioadhesive properties allow greater adherence of the product to the ocular surface, which provides long-lasting relief and shortens the healing time of the corneal epithelium.

The carbomer allows the gel to remain on the ocular surface longer, providing long-lasting relief from the signs and symptoms of dry eye .

Instructions for use of THEALOZ Duo Gel

1. Before use, wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Remove a single-dose container from the strip.
3. Turn upside down and tap the single-dose container.
4. Open the container and press to release the gel.
5. Spread one drop into the conjunctival sac (the space between the eye and the eyelid), while gently pulling down on the lower eyelid and looking up.
6. Discard the container, even if some gel remains inside.
7. If you wear contact lenses, you should remove them before using the product and wait at least 30 seconds before putting them back in.
8. Use one drop in each eye, 2 to 4 times a day.
9. Ideal to use at night, just before going to bed.
