Due to its varied components, this nutritional supplement has a wide spectrum in the treatment of circulatory conditions, regulating blood pressure and circulation, also acting as an anticoagulant and relaxant.
In addition, due to its rich garlic content, it is also effective for the prevention of respiratory diseases as well as the development of intestinal parasites.
Due to its other components, it contributes to the relaxation of the nervous system and has a diuretic effect.
Instructions for use of Dietmed Calmoten 60 Tablets
Take 2 tablets three times a day after each meal.
Precautions with Dietmed Calmoten 60 Tablets
Do not use in the case of pregnancy or breastfeeding or in children under three years of age.
Its use is not recommended in cases of active, pre- and post-operative bleeding.
Caution is advised in the case of peptic ulcer. Its use as an adjuvant to control hypertension should only be done under the supervision of a specialist, due to the possibility of blood pressure decompensation.
In individuals allergic to strawberries, it can cause hypersensitivity reactions.
It should not be associated with cardiotonic heterosides, ß-blockers, hypotensive agents, or benzodiazepines or other sedatives of the nervous system, since it can strengthen their effect; nor to taking it with anticoagulants and antithrombotics, since it can increase the effect of the medication due to the antiplatelet, antithrombotic and fibrinolytic activity of garlic.
Likewise, it can increase the effect of insulin and oral antidiabetics due to the hypoglycemic effects of garlic.
Do not combine with immunomodulators (e.g. Ciclosporine), since it may reduce the effect of the medication by induction of the 3A4 isoenzyme.
Do not combine with protease inhibitors (e.g. Saquinavir), since it may reduce the effect of the medication by induction of the cytochrome P450 enzyme complex.
