Breast milk is the ideal food for the infant, for which it is essential to obtain adequate nutrition for the mother. If breastfeeding is not possible, you can use infant formula after consulting your pediatrician.
Novalac AC can be used as the sole source of food until the baby is 6 months old. From 6 months and in accordance with the pediatrician's opinion, Novalac AC can become part of a progressively diversified diet.
Novalac AC should be used under medical supervision and only in infants who present symptoms for which it is indicated.
Do not change formulas without the advice of your pediatrician.
The origin of the proteins included in Novalac AC is cow's milk. Novalac AC should not be administered in case of allergy to cow's milk proteins, galactosemia and/or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Babies and children with allergies, premature babies, low-weight newborns, or immunocompromised children should be previously evaluated by a pediatrician.
This product should not be administered parenterally.
